Our client fell in love with a Grade IIIA heritage building and set their heart on moving their existing restaurant to this freshly re-imagined space. The footprint of the existing property is small and the heritage constraints on the design possibilities called for some ingenious solutions to functional design requirements.

The interior of the building was left largely intact, with the new vertical circulation and the kitchen component located in the small portion of open space in the back corner of the property. The client had very definite ideas on the interior fit-out, which resulted in a collaborative and responsive design process.
